Note: Sitting in my archive since 2018, this image was made on a roadtrip out west to Arizona, Nevada, and California. Just outside of Death Valley I pulled over and took this image of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Back home we don’t have anything bigger than a hill, so seeing these mountains rise up out of the ground was amazing to see and the feeling I had was hard to describe.
